- Assisted Hatching
This is a process where the embryologist creates a small hole in the zona pellucida under a microscope by means of micromanipulation.
- IVM (In Vitro Maturation)
This is a process where immature eggs are removed from the ovaries. Thereafter they are matured in the laboratory before fertilisation.
- Vitrification (Egg Freezing)
This process allows a woman to have her eggs extracted to be frozen and stored. When she is ready, the eggs will be thawed and fertilised then transferred to the uterus.
- Cryopreservation
Cryopreservation involves the preservation of embryos, sperm, blood cells or stem cells by means of freezing it and storing it for later use.
- Ovulation Induction
Ovulation induction is a method of administering medications that is used to stimulate the follicles in your ovaries which results in the production of multiple eggs in one cycle.
